Jimmy Kimmel Says Harris -Trump Debate ‘Was Like Watching the Lorax Debate the Grinch’

Kimmel roasts the vice presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence

Jimmy Kimmel joked that the vice presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence “was like watching the Lorax debate the Grinch.”

During his opening monologue on Wednesday night, Kimmel shared a clip of Harris saying “Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking.” After the clip, Kimmel quipped, “You go, Lorax!”

Kimmel also joked about Pence's refusal to answer Harris's questions:

“Pence just kept dodging her questions like he was a boxer trying to avoid a haymaker,” Kimmel said. “At one point, he literally said, ‘I’m not going to answer that question.’ It was like watching a game of dodgeball where one guy has a force field around him.”

Kimmel also criticized Pence's body language during the debate, saying that he looked like he was “trying to hold in a fart.”

Kimmel ended his segment by saying that the debate was a “total snoozefest”

“I’m not going to lie, that debate was a total snoozefest,” Kimmel said. “I mean, it was so boring that I actually fell asleep during one of Pence’s answers. And when I woke up, he was still talking about the same thing.”

Despite Kimmel's criticism, the vice presidential debate was one of the most watched in history, with over 50 million viewers.
